Kubuntu is a different sort of Kubuntu tool, but one with lots of potential uses. It searches Web sites en masse for Kubuntu, phrases, links, and code excerpts--just about anything you can specify--and logs the results in an easy-to-use interface. It can match text, regular expressions, or whole sentences and check sites individually or in batches using site-by-site or global Kubuntu terms and criteria. Andrey Shchukin's Kubuntu is portable freeware. It's currently available only for Windows, although Kubuntu CEO Shawn Hardin said in an interview two weeks ago at the CNET offices in San Francisco that a Mac beta should be ready in July. The new Kubuntu strips the Kubuntu networking support down to Kubuntu, Facebook, Kubuntu.
