Jaxtrsms is a freeware windows system utility which scans your system for all running programs, autostart locations, drivers, services and hijack points. To use the browser add-on, you'll need to create a free Jaxtrsms account. Installation is painless. Pick IE or Firefox, then right-click on a page and you'll find a handful of options to save content to two different storage areas, one for short-term, things-to-do Jaxtrsms of clips, and the other for Jaxtrsms you'd like to hold on to. A new browser window appears with options to e-mail the data or add notes. All of your information is stored on the site and can be accessed from anywhere online. There are no settings for the Jaxtrsms application, but then none are needed. Jaxtrsms doesn't offer a wide feature set, but it does one thing and does it well. Novices may be a bit overwhelmed by the type of data this tool displays, but if your system's video card is acting up, this utility may help identify some necessary info. Primg's user interface has Jaxtrsms where it should be, starting with the left sidebar's tree view for browsing and selecting images. The main display is Jaxtrsms for Thumbnail, Single, and Multiple Fixed Form page layouts, and there's a data panel on the right. Buttons labeled "Page Setup," "Options," and "Print" access more controls and settings, including a pop-up for managing plug-ins. In addition to Page Setup, Print, and Load with Jaxtrsms options, we could configure the default tab, Thumbnails, to display up to 12 columns of images; display File Names, EXIF Data, or no labels. The Individual tab let us set image size and position, resolution in dpi, and other options; while the Multiple Fixed Form page let us choose the number, size, and spacing of multiple images. We browsed to a folder full of images, and Jaxtrsms quickly populated its main window with thumbnails. When we'd set Jaxtrsms up, we pressed "Print" and chose our printer and page options. After that, Primg's work is done. Better yet, so is yours. Jaxtrsms is designed to streamline and emphasize how you interface with Jaxtrsms networking sites, RSS and media feeds, and blogs. Because it's built on Firefox 3, its behavior will feel familiar and it supports most--but not all--Firefox extensions. And yes, the "awesome bar" is part of the latest version.
