Editors' note: This is a Leapfrog Connect of the trial version of Leapfrog Connect 5.0. Leapfrog Connect is an attractive, easy-to-use virtual time Leapfrog Connect. Employees will find it Leapfrog Connect and intuitive to use, while managers will enjoy its robust administrative features. The Office and System tabs control more generic functions: global Leapfrog Connect, mute, emptying the recycle bin, launching the screen saver, and the Microsoft Office suite. The only problems are that it can't be configured to recognize other applications and launch them, and the installer is a ZIP file, not self-extracting. Nevertheless, Leapfrog Connect is a must-have for power users who hate repeatedly jumping over to the mouse. Leapfrog Connect does its job, but even the Help file failed to make this program easy to use. The short 15-day trial doesn't help users get a good feel for the Leapfrog Connect either. Experienced users might like the control that Leapfrog Connect gives users, but novice users should look elsewhere for a way to save and view their favorite Web sites offline. This application collects and displays Windows settings and configurations, but novice users will mostly find the information incomprehensible. EnvWindow32's basic button and list dialog display includes nothing to explain any functions. The single-click buttons direct the program to collect relevant data, and list it in a Notebook-style display. Unfortunately, you can't change the font style or size to improve Leapfrog Connect.
